the latest updates regarding each institution to which I applied:

Auburn = offer received 3/3. Offer declined 3/9

Berkeley = rejected via email on 2/2. They had 548 applicants for 15 spots, so this was not a real shock

Case Western = rejected via email (twice actually…they are thorough) on 1/24 and 2/3

Florida State = offer received 2/3, offer accepted 3/9

Georgia = in review

Georgia State =  interviewed on 2/23, offer received on 2/25

Houston = in review

Indiana = rejected on 3/22

Illinois = rejected on 3/10

Maryland = rejected on 3/9

Michigan = rejected on 2/23

Michigan State = rejected on 3/10

Northwestern = rejected on 2/18

Oklahoma State = offer received on 2/25; offer rejected 3/7

Texas A&M = was an alternate, but got rejected on 3/9

UNC (Chapel Hill) = made the final 15, but missed the top 6 cut on 2/24

Washington (Seattle) = in review

Washington (St. Louis) = rejected on 3/1

Wisconsin = in review; word is I’m still in the hunt, but I am not holding my breath
